With director Ken behind the camera, the governor noted how federal taxes from Michigan go to other states, subsidizing road construction in Alaska, for example.

City Council President Pro Tem Thomas Tafelski visits with Frank Bewick on the KiwaniTalk set. Councilman Tafelski discussed the ongoing developments along Michigan Avenue in Dearborn with special attention to the city's acquisition of the historic Montgomery Ward building. Mr. Bewick averred that the city should not get involved in real estate while Mr. Tafelski felt that the city government could be a positive force in preserving the quality of life in the area.
The commander and past commander of the Dearborn Veteran's Post came by Comcast studios to raise awareness for the veterans' main occasions, Veteran's Day, Flag Day and the upcoming Memorial Day and Dearborn Memorial Day parade.
